The first part of the "Ikarus" series is based on the novel "Men in Space" by Tom McCarthy set in Prague in the early 90s.
There are three images dominating the scene (the series has three parts). Two in front of the door are slide projections as a illustration of the book, and a third one on the stage floor consisting of two revolving platforms. These symbolize both the halo above the icon that plays the central role in the plot and the revolving planets in dreams about flying to space.
